What to Expect At Your First Chiropractic Visit
1. Schedule & Complete Your Forms
Once you schedule your first chiropractic appointment, you’ll receive a welcome email from Jane App along with your new patient forms. Please complete these before your appointment. They include basic contact information, health history, and questions that help your doctor understand your concerns before you arrive.
2. Meet With Your Doctor
When you arrive, you’ll check in at the front desk before meeting with one of our doctors. Your provider will review your medical history, discuss what brought you in, and ask follow-up questions based on the information you provided in your forms.
3. Complete Your Physical Exam
Your doctor will perform an examination based on your symptoms and needs. This may include neurological, orthopedic, range-of-motion, joint, and muscle testing to better understand what may be contributing to your discomfort or limitations.
4. Review Findings & Discuss Treatment
After the examination, your doctor will discuss their findings with you, answer your questions, and recommend appropriate treatment options. If clinically appropriate, treatment may begin during the same visit.
Insurance & Payment
We are an out-of-network provider. This means we are not contracted with insurance companies. However, your insurance plan may include out-of-network benefits that reimburse a portion of the cost of your care. We also offer self-pay options for patients without out-of-network coverage.
Your new patient exam is $199 and includes your first treatment, when clinically appropriate. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, your insurance may reimburse a portion of this fee.
If you upload your insurance information with your new patient forms, our team can check your out-of-network benefits before your appointment. You can also contact us at info@scrippschiro.com with questions about coverage or payment options.
