Decompression for Spine or Knee
If you have neck and lower back pain , a pinched nerve, herniated or bulging disc, degenerative disc or joint disease, posterior facet syndrome, sciatica or muscular strain and spasm;
Spinal Decompression may be able to help by applying targeted stretching on your spine. Patients start out seated and are gently leaned back with benefits of vibration and heat which puts patients in a relaxed state of mind and body.
As the spaces between your vertebrae are increased 1-4″, you’ll notice lower levels of pain and an increased range of motion and flexibility of your neck or back. The decompression equipment is mechanically tractioning spinal vertebrae away from each other allowing the discs to hydrate and increase in size absorbing synovial fluid. If this is done enough times over a period of 2-3 months, then areas of nerve pinching and inflammation will improve and pain will resolve.
Decompression of the knee is similar as the joint is distracted the meniscus can hydrate and more flexibility and reduced pain results.
